Finished third place in the Hungarian Open Championship in 1988, one-time participant in the Hungarian Individial Championship.

First trainer of Ildikó Mádl, two-time olympic winner. Second and trainer of András Adorján (1900-2004) and Péter Lékó (1994-2001).

Since 2008, director of the chess division of Tabáni Spartacus and director of the Budapest Regional Chess School.

From 1992, co-worker of the Szövetségi Tájékoztató (Federational Informant), later on the Magyar Országos Sakktájékoztató (Hungarian National Chess Informant), later on became its editor-in-chief and publisher till its expiry.

Chief Ariber of the Sárkány-Aranytíz International Chess Tournament and Budapest Open since 2011.

FIDE-master since 1978. Highest rating: 2395. Presidental board member of the Budapest Chess Federation between 1999 and 2014, arbiter since 1999. Director of the chess division of the Törekvés Sports Team.
